Our role is to listen, advocate and support our caregivers by providing regular contact and attending monthly in-person visits, including ensuring financial matters are addressed and reimbursed promptly, to discussing all child-related matters. As part of our program, we have monthly support meetings, social media access, Christmas and Summer events, and access to internal resources with our other programs like our clinicians and an Indigenous team for support. It takes a village to raise a child, and we try to ensure our caregivers feel like part of our village.
