The Family Centre

The Family Centre’s vision is for Healthy Families in Healthy Communities. ohpikîhakan Foster Care is trauma-informed and embedded with culturally responsive services and Indigenous worldviews. Caregivers will be supported through the licensing and onboarding process and provided with ongoing professional training and reflective support from a therapeutic supervisor. The Family Centre provides a holistic support system to increase the caregiver’s ability to provide day-to-day safety and wellness for the children and youth in their home.
